Preface
You may have figured
out that the author’s name is not a real name.
It is an acronym for the word anonymous.
The author doesn’t want this book to be about him, he wants it to be
about the reader and the reader’s relationship with God.
There are some of the author’s experiences described to make points or
give examples of helpful tips. However,
instead of looking at the author the hope is that you will look to the
experience. If this book helps some
people develop a closer relationship with God then it was worth the effort to
write it.
Foreword
Whenever someone sets
out to write about the Bible they usually find a few scriptural verses that
support whatever theory they are teaching.
This book is no different. The
main theory of the book is the God is love, as well as wisdom and power.
But love is the main focus. Love
is the path to the Secret Place of the Most High mentioned in Psalm 91.
Another point that is
discussed in the book is the concept that the Bible is the Word of God.
Many Christians accept that the Bible was inspired by God and some even
believe that God inspired every word in the book.
If that is so, and if God is love there are some issues, especially with
the Old Testament.
Paul describes love
in the thirteenth chapter of the first book of Corinthians know as the love
chapter. One aspect of God’s love is that there is no jealousy in love.
There are several places in the Old Testament where God says that He is
a jealous God. That is one conflict
that is addressed in this book. There
are other issues that are looked at also. Some may resolve questions you may
have and some may introduce new questions, and hopefully answer them.
